Delete your account

1. Open Chasr and go to the You tab.
2. Tap the gear icon at the top left to open Settings.
3. Tap Delete account, then confirm.

It happens immediately and cannot be undone. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.

If you cannot get into the app, for example because you no longer have the phone number, use our contact page, choose "Delete my account", and tell us the phone number or handle on the account. If you can still open the app, you can also ask in Settings → Message Us. We will confirm the request comes from the account holder, for example by asking you to confirm details from the app, then delete the account the same way the app does. We do this as soon as we can, and within 45 days at the latest. We will tell you when it is done.

Your account, phone number, handle, profile photo, followed bars, visit and presence history, points and rewards, passes, event RSVPs, friends and friend requests, reviews, your crawl messages, the crawls you started (including other people's messages in them), the reports and blocks you made, your Message Us conversation with us, and your push token.

• Deal activation records that a bar's fees are based on, with your account removed from them, so nothing in them points back to you.
• Usage events already sent to our analytics provider, linked to an account ID that no longer exists. Ask us and we will delete them too.
• Backups and logs kept by our service providers, until they expire on their own schedules.
• Settings saved on your phone, such as ghost mode and recent searches, until you delete the app.
• Messages you sent through our contact page, and our replies, kept with our support records until you ask us to delete them.

A guest account, made by looking around without signing up, can be deleted the same way while you are still using it.

To close an owner account on chasr.club, use our contact page with the account's email address as your reply address, and name the venue. We confirm by writing to that address before anything is removed. We remove your access to the venue and delete the owner account. What your venue posted can be taken down at the same time if you ask. Invoices and billing records are kept as long as we need them for accounting and tax, and fees for activations before you stopped are still owed, as the Bar Partner and Billing Terms say.
